Yeah, but the statement doesn't make sense. Sometimes believers can't take what life throws at them, so that does it even mean to say he never gives you a challenge you can't handle?
But I assume you are like me, that it is more difficult to cope with the knowledge of other people suffering, especially loved ones.

It confirms what I thought. It's the great humanistic pill that nearly all will swallow...
It counts on two things, that the human mind is the ultimate criterion for knowledge and understanding, and that society will determine what clear thinking is.
It also finishes beautifuly with the ideaology of the "collective future."
Wow, thanks for that, I'll be sharing it right away with people who know what the future holds.
So than people shouldn't think for themselfs?
No it is not the greatest criterion , it is the criterion that we have. Why do you think science ocured ? Because sometime our logic fails , and we need evidence before making statements , one of the best exampels for this is " Homosexuality is a choice " a false statement wich caused a lot of hatred and suffering.
No , society doesn't decide what clear thinking is , if it where that way you will be still hunting with a stick. Society is the impediment actually.
" colective future " - you know that our future is our top priority no?
