if it's possibly from God, it cannot be in any other way. (perhaps more intuitive)
It's possible it is from God.
Therefore it can be only one way.
Therefore it is from God.
If this argument is for the existence of god, then you can't start with god in your first premise.
This is what Cyberman means in post #72 by "affirming the consequent". You can't assume your conclusion in the first premise.
If your argument is for god as the source of 'goodness', then the argument fails from a different fallacy, a red hearing and non sequitur.
You would really be best served by reading some books on basic logic before posting any more of your fallacious arguments. Take a few weeks off from posting, get a book on basic logic. Then when you come up with another argument, write it out as a syllogism, then evaluate it by verifying that it is both valid (structure of the argument) and sound (premises are demonstrably true). Only then, post it here.
Here's a good starting point -
An Illustrated Book of Bad Arguments
Because, unlike you, we are pretty well acquainted with all fallacies, and if you haven't noticed, we constantly point them out to you.
Problem is, if you were to understand basic logic, you would have almost nothing to start threads about here.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
