Not sure what the first paragraph means.
I spent the first couple decades of my life sincerely 'seeking God's perfection in the all things'. Never received a thing for my efforts.

What?!
I believe in zero gods, including yours. The existence of Yahweh has not met it's burden of proof. So it goes without saying, that the existence of his 'righteousness' is also unsupported by demonstrable evidence.
And even if you could demonstrate that Yahweh exists, that would not mean I would worship him. If the Bible is an accurate portrayal of his nature and actions, he would not warrant my worship.
What makes you think that those of us that do not believe in gods 'just fuck people over willy-nilly'? This is disproved by the most atheistic countries in the world (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and a few more) being among the lowest in the world with regards to crime rates.

What the hell does evolution have to do with the existence of a god? There are quite a few Christians that full accept the fact of evolution, like 80% of Christians in Europe, for example.
If evolution were to be proven false tomorrow, that would not offer one bit of evidence that a god exists.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
