If you think Trump's followers can in anyway be compared to Jim Jones, much less are 'very similar' you need to present evidence, the starting point needs to be a base level of knowledge about the Jim Jones cult. Which is obviously lacking, other than just knowing it's bad.

Here is the ultimate irony of it all. Is that for you guys, you either have to agree with all the negative stuff said about Trump, regardless of the rationality of it or even the truth of it, elsewise I'm one of them and all the bad things you are talking about.

What's ironic is the left getting on this kick that if you don't agree with them you're now a cult follower of Jim Jones. What's really ironic is that the democrat party is beginning to take a sharp turn to the left with the rise of socialist candidates and with the rise of younger college age voters who are sympathetic to the democratic socialists. President Trump is a conservative capitalist. Jim Jones was a leftwing Socialist having more in common with the left and with the democrat socialist party. It's the left leaners who are the sheep and the lemmings that follow every peep and mutter from a Trump hating left wing media and from anything else that is never trumper. Jim Jones was their guy....

Both think his own Good trumps any greater good, and subordinates even basic telling of factual reality to whatever appears to be needed at the moment to keep himself in power to suit his own ego and enable his own graft.
