Ha ha. Before I wrote that post I thought to myself "I must not write Ray but Rey" and still I made the mistake.
When it comes to last movie they probably feel like they must do something that nobody expects and they'll end up doing nothing, because nobody expects nothing, and they'll say how it's all so profound.
And when you think about how real trilogy movies ended: 1st they destroyed Death Star, 2nd Darth was Luke's father (equivalent of destroying Death Star) and then 3rd again destroying Death Star and death of Vader.
So in new one: they destroyed Death Star, 2nd ?? not sure--killed Luke? Anticlimax? Survived?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
