I've read that Gouramis as intelligent as Bettas, actually. Makes sense, since they're in the same family.
It would appear that they're not quite as uh....high-strung and territorial, though.
I'm wondering if Dwarf Gouramis would really be compatible with my future Betta? I've read they are, but I don't feel too confident about it.
IDK. Perhaps in a bigger tank, with plenty of plants to hide in.
I'm considering going with neon Tetra, because they're small and are pretty much bottom swimmers. I think a few tiny low-key fish and a couple of snails are the most I'm willing to house with a Betta in a 10-gallon tank.
The Panda Cory are little catfish, aren't they? Pretty cute.
