BULLSHIT, that wasn't simply hyperbole. That is the same toxic and dangerous vilification Trump has used as red meat to rile up conservatives. 

You cannot take one example and solely focus on that.  Talk like that adds up, and when it adds up in politics, bad things follow.

"Liberal breeding ground" is meant as a derogatory slur in an attempt to vilify dissent. He is using the same vile tactics Trump is using.

I can agree this language is not helpful but why focus on it only when conservatives do this?

"Liberal" is not an evil term, and we are not some separate species. "Liberal" means "open", "more", "bigger tent".

"Liberal" is the opposite of China, the opposite of North Korea, the opposite of Stalin., the opposite of Hitler, the opposite of Cuba.

I can agree that we should not equate liberal with evil necessarily.  We should equate evil with evil.  But liberal means a lot more than that in America.  It generally means pro choice, more open boarders, more taxes, more programs, more government regulation etc.  Some people are in disagreement with these ideologies some consider them evil or bad.  

And I don't give a shit if he has voted for funding for higher education. If he didn't mean it, he shouldn't have said it.

And this is the problem.  If you say something you don't really mean you cannot be forgiven that if it is of the opposing party. Biden says crap he needs to retract or clarify often.  We need to have more grace toward each other if we really want to communicate.  

Of course on average the more educated someone is the more likely they are to be liberal. But "liberal breeding ground" he is saying like that is a bad thing, and it is not a bad thing.

Bad is not objective. You just disagree on this point.  I believe some liberal and some conservative ideology is bad, so what.  Why not discuss the ideology and forget the name calling?

Just a suggestion:  'whataboutism' doesn't qualify as a rebuttal or even an argument.
