I am only talking about old earth vs young earth in this thread.
These arguments over old Earth came up in the 19th century when science was developing into it's modern form of nailing down what substances are made of (chemistry) and generic behavior of objects (Physics, 18th century, Calculus, mechanics), and nailing down what bio-machines are (biology).

I assume there are plenty of jewish YEC and muslim YEC. It's hard for me to say since I have not seen statistics for those groups. I have only seen country based stats.
