Illinois has currently reached Tier 3 Mitigation, which is just short of a full-on lockdown. Here's how it affects my routine since mid-March:
It's not quite a lockdown, but, it looks like it will turn into one if people keep trying to find ways around it, so, odds are, an escalation is all but inevitable.
- Retail stores are limited to 25% capacity, 50% for grocery stores
- Home gatherings are limited to one household. So it looks like if you're looking to have a Thanksgiving Dinner That Can't Be Beat And Not Wake Up Until The Next Morning, do it for your own damn household. I've been assuming that Dad and I won't go to Bonnie's for Thanksgiving, but it looks like my therapist won't be able to hold an in-person Thanksgiving like she's been contemplating.
- The local library's situation is left to the discretion of the village. And while they recently announced that they were going to discontinue curbside pickup in commemoration of readying the West wing of the Library, it's likely this will have to change, but their situation has a big question mark hanging over it for now.
