What is the difference between HIV and AIDS? What do you mean by "proper diet"? As far as I know, diet has little or no effect on the immune system. Lysine deficiency (in the poor people whose main source of protein is wheat bread) is thought to weaken the immune system, but, as far as I know, the evidence even for that is thin.
Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

Quote:Eating enough nutrients as part of a varied diet is required for the health and function of all cells, including immune cells. Certain may better prepare the body for microbial attacks and excess inflammation, but it is unlikely that individual foods offer special protection. Each stage of the body’s immune response relies on the presence of many micronutrients. Examples of nutrients that have been identified as critical for the growth and function of immune cells include vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, selenium, iron, and protein (including the amino acid glutamine). [3,4] They are found in a variety of plant and animal foods.
AIDS is the condition caused by HIV. Simply because someone is HIV positive doesn’t necessarily mean they will develop AIDS.
