It'd be hard to totally dismiss religious objections, although if I were the one making these laws, I'd definitely add a stipulation that the religion in question would have to have had anti-vaccine views prior to March 2020. Maybe add another to close a loophole for anyone who converts to one of the few religions that would have qualified specifically to evade the vaccine, but then, I fear the first alone would be pushing it.
Then again, looking at the five states that have removed said exemption, it might be a good idea, although it'd be risky, given that the Republican Party seems to be so pro-virus at this point.
