When's the last time that you elected a cop, for that matter, Lek? Ever try negotiating with one?
When is the last time you let someone barricade your neighborhood and check everyone going in?
I already live in a country where a road can be barricaded and a man can ask for my papers. Call me back when they're refusing to let people out.
Your complaint was disingenuous. People can call the cops, and the cops could march in and bust the whole thing apart. It would be a disastrous move and there's no reason to do it - but I guess it might satisfy the kinds of people who declare any american that doesn't agree with them or their policies a terrorist.
I wonder how much soul searching you'd have had to do if you were around when americans really did take a chunk of another country's sovereign territory and form a state?
