What innocent people, Lek? You act as if the protestors in seattle were booting out the residents.
They attempted to boot out agents of the government. To be innocent in this, those agents of the government could do what any moral citizen of these united states must be compelled to do. Refuse to hold down their fellow citizens for the benefit of their alleged superiors. We train our combatants to refuse unlawful orders, and they always have the right to fail, and to miss, and to be looking in the wrong direction. They will be guilty until proven innocent in any charges brought about by following such an order.
If cops want to walk around cosplaying soldiers in a force of occupation...maybe they should start acting like one.

Do a little introspective digging into why you need to convince yourself of these narratives in order to maintain your stated positions. What's the issue? Would it be a problem, to you, if cops were doing...what cops are doing? Would it be a problem, to you, if our government were doing...what our government is doing?
