When I'm not feeling well, sometimes I might meditate and imagine that I'm on a calm relaxing beach.
It's just me, the sun, the sand and the ocean waves.
I imagine that the sun is filling my body with healing energy.
I imagine this energy flowing from my arms and legs, inward toward my chest and then to my head.
This meditation doesn't heal me. It relaxes me. It focuses my mind on something else.
My relaxed body may benefit from the meditation and that is a good thing.
As long as a person realizes that it's their imagination at work, then all is good. It's when you think that it's real is where you run into problems.
