Because buisnesses are all owned by evil aliens, not people - and their sole purpose is to make sure slack jawed idiots are well paid...
It' s not like the point of risking money starting a business is to like - make money......
Maybe don't risk money if you're shit at business that you have to exploit your workers by paying them non-livable wages in order to make a profit. I don't feel sorry for people who need to exploit people in order to profit. I don't give two shits about them, and really do hope they go fuck themselves as they go out of business.
what a .... simple view of life. one not only do you risk everything, you go into debt and risk any future you will ever have with personal guarantees and documents you sign for the IRS. Try to imagine not only going all in, but in so far if you fail you will never own a home/car or even rent in your name ever again. to be indebted to the IRS for decades.
now throw away any thought of any school or any education you can get to ensure your business venture will be successful. like wise throw away any idea or those that any business model can prepare you for success. because this goes so far beyond how unique a snow flake is outside of a well worn franchise situation (and even then you can fail) there is no way to not hemorrhage money all the time. sometimes it's your fault and sometimes not. yes education can help you avoid major pitfalls, but a death buy a million small cuts is still death. The only way to survive is to work.. work so hard you loose everything, as you put everything into your business. your youth, your plans for family, the house you wanted to start with, sleep... also know there are no weeks off or holidays. i was on call 24/7 literally 3651/4 days per year for 20+ years i slept sitting up in my service truck more than i did in my bed. which later translated into an office.. because it's all you. every lowly little crap job from cleaning toilets and making coffee to collecting the big checks. every job is yours till one day, production starts to lag because you can not keep up with everything. So you can't afford it, but on paper know if you don't get help you will loose even more so you hire your first employee. 9 out of 10 time it is just someone who can barely push a broom with out messing it up. then like you demand a premium for simply handling the over flow? why would you pay this person anything more than what their job is worth?
let say you opened a bakery and specialized in high end wedding cakes. and it was only you and you did everything yourself. from fronting all the money, setting everything up do all the prep work marketing, shows, deliveries, sourcing, ingredients, baking decorating and even serve the cake at the event. let's say one cake makes you 10K. but you can only do one of these monster 10 step cakes a month. and pretty soon you do such a good job and there is demand for 2 monster cakes a month.. now you sit down and figure out you do not need someone to do everything, but maybe just help delivery and serving the cake frees you up enough to bake 2 a month. making you a total of 20K.. Now is your help worth 1/2/the extra 10 you made. remember you still did 3/4 of all the work plus your whole life and future is in this game. or is this person's contribution something a train monkey could do? if so why would you then be obligated to give them 1/2 of what you earned? they have nothing invested in any part of this process besides the time it takes them to show up and serve cake which is a minimal effort.. so then why sould their pay not reflect a minimal effort?
Now ask yourself should any minimal effort be enough to fully live?
if you work 80 hours a week to make your cake shack work be profitable enough to help you make your life a little easier by hiring help, should a minimum effort helper make or take an equal share from the company? should their minimum effort be enough to live a full life?
if so why own a bakery and do all this extra work when you can make a full life doing minimum work for someone else?
