Don't buy the Denazification bullshit.
The contents of these articles may or may not be true. No one posting on this thread really knows.
We do know that the first two sources cited are funded and operated by the US government and have always pushed the official government line. These are not objective, independent sources. If a source is funded and operated by Russia, we should be equally wary of that.
The Times is owned by Rupert Murdoch, was strongly Thatcherite, and is well-known for pushing dubious ideological narratives, including the idea that HIV doesn't lead to AIDS. It is a source to be skeptical about.
Haaretz is actually more sympathetic to an oppressed people (the Palestinians) than the New York Times. I do not know their history concerning Russia. Historically, Israeli media has strong opinions on Russia.
So, again, we don't know whether these stories are accurate or not. We do know that as skeptical people who are wary of propaganda and think for ourselves, these are sources to be very wary of.
Funny how you don't exercise the same scrutiny of and skepticism for your own sources, which are at least as susceptible to charges of bias.
