Because to Americans, a knife is a tool, not just a deadly weapon. there are MANY things I can do with my trusty blade. Stabbing fools who decide to bring violence on me and my family and friends is one of the many options I have available to me.
That doesnt mean I wait in eager anticipation to slice someones innards into outards. No, quite the opposite my good chap. I hope no one ever forces me to use my blade in that way...EVER!
