Not to mention that, in the scientific realm, Darwin is pretty old hat. His principle of Natural Selection was a breakthrough in that it provided a mechanism for evolution - prior to that, nobody knew what made evolution work, only that somehow it did work. However, evolutionary theory has itself evolved in the 150+ years since Darwin published his work. That doesn't mean we throw Darwin onto the scrap heap, but continually laying into Darwin and his landmark theory really is to miss the boat on the current state of evolutionary biology.
