Proposed Award - Kook of the Month

RE: Proposed Award - Kook of the Month
Again, why?

Fuck em.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Because I'm trying not to be cruel? But, yeah, I do have limitations of religion tolerance.

I wouldn't mind if we award with title: "Fuckwits" to the theists below.
If theists condones pedophilia, Fuck 'em
If theists condones slavery, Fuck 'em
If theists condones the beatings to train girls, Fuck 'em
If theists condones by indoctrinating the religion to children, Fuck 'em.
If theists condones the power of prayer over modern medicine, Fuck 'em.
If theists condemned homosexuality for their religious reasons, Fuck 'em.
If theists want ID and Creationism to be teach in the schools, Fuck 'em.
Lol. I'm contradicting myself, am I not? Still doesn't hurt to be polite anyway.

So let's back to the topic of awards. Why not add contents to award like, the information why they are rewarded with award titled 'you are stupid' or whatever more appropriate title.
-Theists' stupid comment and reference.
-Reasons why the thiests' comment is stupid.

Calling someone a kook isn't the same as implying someone is a child rapist.

Correct. And "Child molester" is an example of inappropriate title.

Riiiighhht. And your point? I don't think calling someone a kook is nearly as offensive as calling someone a child molester.

You can easily call someone a kook in jest, calling them a child molester is less funny due to the implications.

It may well be, but to put it in the same sentence and same context as an appropriate title - such as "deluded", is contradictory and renders your point meaningless.

If the theist qualifies to have the "Kook" award, because he's stupid. It's no problem - hardly inappropriate nor bigoted title. I was saying to avoid the possible bigotry like calling Catholic a child molester.

You're right. Undecided The appropriateness depends on the context of title that we are planning to make in future, no?

I do not approve of a form of negative award. Members spend far too much time as it is shitting on persistent annoyances to occasional, well meaning dolts.
