My thoughts leading to my atheism? Hmm, I hate to sound this lame, but I think my reasoning is a combination of anger/bad experience with a deity and lack of help/guidance of my anger. Obviously, I am not saying that atheism is a bad idea, though.

Welcome.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

What exactly is this bad experience? Does it have anything to do with this imaginary god creating such a shitty world? Or maybe he didn't answer your prayers? Or maybe he gave you cancer? Maybe, he made a tree fall on your car. Maybe he healed a total jackass's tumor but left your kid's disease hanging around so your child ended up dying?

Maybe it's because he works in mysterious ways.

I'm going off on a tangent perhaps.
