You shoulda seen the people in Iraq when that soccer win happened, they were dancing in the streets and not killing each other. There were not rioting/looting/burning as what happens often in the US when some sports team wins something.

I had an emotional response to it also. Brought a tear to my eye seeing all those people celebrate as one.

Sadly, the next day they were out killing each other again.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

It sad that they can't try to make peace, and quites strange that they can be happy and united one day then the other day do they kill eachother. It's like WWI when the enemy soldier player socce with eachother during christmas.

Is there a lack of hope in Iraq which make harder to create peace?
