1) Fix the forums.
2) Get that blasted forum blog up and running.
3) Write a minimum of an article a week for my personal blog.

1. Finally through with Jess as all my feelings for her are gone! So that's done. All that's left is to completely forget.
2. Get into a good and well paid job.
3. Get a huge warm hug from Summer.
4. Improve my fitness, I've done well for the upper body but neglected my legs. Due to get a mountain bike to change all that. Also healthier foods.

That's about it for now.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

1. Cut down to less than a pack of cigarettes a day.
Yeah...thats a better way...dont quit. dont even try to quit. Try not to think about it at all.

I switched over to the Marlboro 72's. I used to smoke a pack and a half of camels every day. My wife used to smoke a pack of marlboro lights everyday.

We both decided to buy ONE carton of marlboro 72's a week. One carton for us each to share as opposed to a carton of camels and a carton of marlboro each week...thats a MAJOR improvement...and we have been doing this for 2 years now.

I havent smoked a cigarrete in 3 days. I might have one or two tonight after my seafood feast, and thats the way I like to keep it. We made a rule "no smoking in the house" to make it even more difficult to smoke.

Dont try to force yourself to do it...find ways to make it fit like we did. Ive tried quitting cold turkey and realized "I like smoking and there is nothing wrong with that...fuck what everyone else says!". With that said, I try not to abuse it because I know it can fuck you up.

I agree. There is something to be said for moderation. I like to smoke. Especially after eating and sex. I can't see ever letting it go completely. I hope to one day only smoke one or two a day. Right now I smoke 2 packs of menthol 100's a day. It's just not good.

..and menthols are even worse for you. Just that much more chemicals that you are inhaling.

When we first switched to the 72', I was smokin them like crazy (being used to the camels, of course) and my wife would bitch about leaving her none for the end of the week. We both made it to were we helped each other cut back by using communal thinking.

Now, sometimes at the end of the week we have 2 extra packs in the carton, meaning me an my wife shared 8 packs of 72's in 7 days - something I never thought I could accomplish. I did some crunching and found out I have cut my habbit down to a third of what it used to be...and I find myself going more and more days without smoking any cigs at all, or maybe just one or two.

Let the anal retentives complain about that one or 2 cigs...its people like that who piss me off the most. Instead of praising people for making a positive direction, they nit pick everything and expect perfection. FUCK THEM!

You want to change, yes? Then I suggest you make the smallest change first.

Switch over to lights.

or

Stop smoking 100's and smoke smaller cigs

or

Dont go to a bar ( I smoke the most in a bar)

You know what I mean...pick one small change and stick with it...and give it some time...give it a couple of months to see if it works.

Baby steps...and dont dwell on a goal....dwell on the here and now.

Life is a journey, not a destination
