In the last couple of months both Arizona and Arizona State Universities have hired new football coaches. The combined salaries for these two guys is 18.05 million dollars ( plus some unspecified "incentives") for the next five years. Last July, it was reported that the 3 top schools in the state were raising tuition between 35 and 38%.
The problem is not the 'government.' The problem is us. As a society we have lost our fucking minds and have no conception of what is valuable anymore. Fix that first. RE: Why don't conservatives see that welfare programs are good for society as a whole?

Well, some conservatives just don't care what happens to others and feel that whatever comes to them is their own fault. The others only think of the people that milk the system when they hear the word welfare. This should be reason to fix the system, however, and not reason to abolish welfare altogether. Insurance fraud costs billions each year, but I never hear any conservatives whining about how we should get rid of insurance.

Like, yes, taxes that are used to provide the basic needs of society...Well, they apply to everyone. And let's throw in healthcare and education aswell. But why, they think, should we pay for the living of the unemployed? And I think that unemployment rates will only rise in the future, not fall. Today, the bread is in the mouth of the lion. And yes, there will be people that will milk the system. Just look at Germany. The government needs to send out people to regularly check on people who receive welfare. ![]() Üze Tengri basmasar, asra Yir telinmeser, Türük bodun ilingin törüngin kim artatı udaçı erti? There ARE or were countries that promote these values. 1. Free Housing: Libyan Wealth was used by the Jamahariya government to provide free housing to all Libyans. The West is still struggling with the housing issue, but the Libyan Jamahariya government had no issues, it was simple, free housing for all Libyans using Libyan wealth. 2. Free Medicare: All Libyans were provided free health care using Libyan wealth. The Libyan Jamahariya also provided finance for those who wanted to get treatment out side Libya, this is because the Libyan government used the Libyan money for the benefit of Libyans. The Western nations are still struggling with health care. 3. Free Education: All Libyans were provided with free Education using Libyan wealth. The Libyan Jamahariya also provided finance for those who wanted to get education abroad, once again, because Libyan money was used to benefit Libyans. Over 80% literacy rate in Libya, the highest in Africa. Under the Western puppet Monarchy, the literacy rate was extremely low, that is because Western puppets do not use Libyan wealth to benefit Libyans, rather to benefit Western interests. 4. Man Made River: The Libyan government financed the man made river using Libyan wealth. This project, when finished, provided 80% of Libyans with water. This also helped with irrigation, making the Libyan deserts green, it can be seen from Satellite images. 5. Social Welfare: Libyans who did not want to work were given unemployment benefits, plus a percentage of oil money directly distributed amongst the Libyan population. This is because the Libyan Jamahariya used the Libyan wealth to benefit Libyans, not foreign Imperialists. Still, with all that Qaddafi did for them they still shoved a stick up his ass.

Of course that is what US media would like you to think. You really think the people would up rise against their leader when they have all those services provided for them. No way.
The people of Libya did not sodomize their leader... rebel thugs, paid mercs, al-quedia/terrorists, whatever you want to call them, did that to Gaddafi. The simple logical fact is that, if a peaceful, good, morally bound rebel faction was behind this, they wouldn't sodomize someone, that shows me these rebels are sick twisted people with no moral boundary who are probably getting paid for their services, and now I read in the news, they are getting offered security jobs and such. Yes give the sodomizers security jobs... I don't see how people can fall for this propaganda anymore, we have too much information at our disposal, and we have the ability to THINK. |
