My username is also taken from my own name, though I wish it was as catchy as yours. My real name is Steven (though I prefer Steve or Ste) and when my now-nearly-23-year-old nephew was a little'un, he used to pronounce it as 'Steebum', or more formally 'Uggle Steebum'. Years later and his little sister arrives, and we tell her what her brother used to call me when he was her age. Filtered again through the mind of a child, 'Steebum' got rendered as the charming 'Steambum' before evolving into 'Stimbo'.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

That's so cute, Stimbo
My middle name is Michelle, and being that it's the feminine form of Michael and I'm a huge Mike Patton fan, it seemed appropriate.

That is hypocrisy of the most laughable kind." Derren Brown - Tricks of the Mind.

Mine dates back to when I first got online. It wasn't long after I'd become an atheist and I joined a forum. The first names I tried had all been taken. Since I was reading a lot of science books in an attempt to catch up after years of fundamentalist christianty, I tried combinations using the word science and Sciwoman was the one that wasn't taken. On some other sites I use the name Ayaan in honor of Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
