Seems I am the only one to vote for the option that is best not to do it at all, but then again I view blasphemy as being explicitly derogatory (aka cursing in any capacity and the whole Mohammed cartoon issue).
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Oh right? How would you view the response to the Mohammed cartoon issue?

I view the whole issue as a stupid kid at a zoo sticking his arm into the lion's exhibit. The analogy works for both sides on the issue.

And thats ok is it? That we can poke fun at anyone we please except if its a religious official. Then bombs go off, an embassy gets burned down and over a hundred people get beaten to death.
Your comparison isn't adequete. Free speech isn't a "stupid kid" and religion certainly isn't a "lion". Lions are seen as a symbol for courage and grace, the "issue" demonstrated it has neither.

If they know something they say or do will cause suffering, then they should be held accountable for doing so despite fully knowing that there would be consequences.

Oh of *course*. By having a sense of humor the paper was to blame for all the people who got beaten to death! Ha ha ha. How silly of me. You see I thought it was the people who actually used their fists to smash the life out of another human being over a cartoon.
I honestly never would of figured that out, what a bright individual you are. :-)

Oh oops. Kind of forgot the Danish and was thinking of the American Christians burning the Qur'an. I also believe a Marine officer is to blame as well.

I'm not being sarcastic, I just looked through everything I typed and I can't figure it out. Help me out here.
