That's got to be the most retarded thing ever. That's like saying: "Black officer arrests white man -- it's like slavery all over again!"
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

A little 'anecdote' about the prodigal foot in mouth:

Demonstrating how utterly stupid and disconnected RC clerics are, the Dutch cardinal Simonis – when quizzed about RC child abuse on prime time TV, a year ago – had the naieveté to say, in German, quoting a German post-war 'standard expression': "wir haben es nicht gewußt"...

That literally means: "we didn't know". But in The Netherlands that German phrase is an infamous winged expression as the standard Nazi cop out, when, after the war, they were interrogated about their involvement in the war crimes and genocide.

"Wir haben es nicht gewußt" ("we didn't know"), to the Dutch, really means "we did know everything, but we're lying through our teeth". And the cardinal qouted that, 65 years later, without flinching on live TV...
He intended to use it in the literal sense – apparently having heard it bandied about a lot, but very obviously never understanding the 'double entendre': what it actually meant to the traumatized post-war Dutch population. His flock, godammit! How it ripped open very deep and painful sentiments re the holocaust.
How fucking disconnected can you be to bring stuff like that up? A totally separate atrocity and the cardinal manages to associate them...! Why, for God's sake! What was he thinking? What a hyper asshole!
Those 3 seconds are already the most sarcastic soundbite of the century in The Netherlands.

I don't expect to see the cardinal talking into a microphone ever again.

But that's not enough. The cardinal, however stupid he may be, is a 'prince of the church'. He is the top dog. He is ultimately accountable for condoning, facilitating, and whitewashing the abuse of, conservatively estimated but uncontested, twenty thousand children since WWII in his 'church province'!

I want to see him in court like every two-bit mafia don! For leading a criminal organisation. Escobar and Bin laden were gunned down like rabid dogs for less! For God's sake!

Let's consider this little tale of thieving priests.

Quote:A Las Vegas Priest Who Gambled Away $650,000 Of His Parish’s Money Gets 3 Years In Prison

So this holy fuckwad gets 3 years for stealing $650,000 but it wasn't too long ago that I posted another story of how some dumb shlub robbed $150 from a convenience store and got over 30 years.

And people wonder why there is no fucking justice in America.

I'm surprised he didn't say "That money was just resting in my account!"

Ack! I'll have you know that my standardized test grades in high school were slightly above the average test scores of European students.

Of course, they were the second best in my school. . . most of my peers, if memory serves, scored very low.

If only all the steroid suckers were as docile as that persona.
Sadly, IRL steroids make you a violent, sadistic, sweaty prick with skin problems.
