RE: More Ron Bashing
Besides the fact that all the truther stuff is incredibly boring, useless, and flat out hilarious, there also remains the question: even if it were true, who gives a shit?

9/11 conspiracy nuts are the same as any other (moon landing, Jew lizards, whatever): desperate people finding patterns that do not exist. I realize it's appealing to try to find intricate patterns in otherwise mundane circumstances, but it serves no purpose besides making you feel like you have a purpose.

Conspiracy theorists should be treated like real world trolls: starved.

Osama admitted to carrying out the attacks and planning more back in 2004: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/updates/binl...29-04.html

Quote:how Al Queida pulled off this intricate plan ALONE, without any inside help.

If you think 9/11 was an intricate plan, you really are deluding yourself. The security at airports was lax, and flying a Boeing 747 is easier than you think if your aim is to crash it in the first place. All hijackers had to do was take control of the cockpit (easy enough since they had weapons and the cockpits were unlocked) and point the plane at a building. The government was completely unprepared, since in the past, hijackings had resulted in the plane landing and demands being made.

Quote:Why all the secrecy and classified documents?

There isn't that much secrecy; most of the data is freely available online.

Quote:If 911 was not an inside job, then is the official story (which the government has supplied and paid for) the truth?

The government paid for an independent investigation. Other independent investigations have come up with exactly the same answers.

Quote:Like the molten steel found in the basements, the debunkers admit that it was there but they won't admit to it being a product of THERMITE.

It's also a product of steel melting due to the intense heat caused by jet fuel fires. The buildings collapsed; it wouldn't surprise me if molten steel near the top of the building was found in the basement afterwards.

Quote:JET FUEL takes down 3 buildings???

Now this one always makes me laugh. Conspiracy theorists seem to forget that planes (i.e. actual physical objects) hit the buildings, taking out support structures, before the fires began to burn. Jet fuel helped speed up the collapse, but the building was already weakened by the impact. Building 7 was hit by debris, again weakening its structure.

Quote:So coincidental that no other buildings fell, only the ones with billion dollar insurance policies that were given just weeks prior.

The insurance policy covered buildings 1, 2, 4, and 5. Only buildings 1 and 2 out of that list fell. The policy was taken out in July, more than a few weeks prior to the incident. It was taken out because Larry Silverstein had just acquired the buildings, nothing more.

Quote:Why did only WTC 7 fall due to "structural damage", but no other buildings in the vicinity of the twin towers fell? HHHmmm..what is your lame response to that?

Building 7 was hit by debris; this has been clearly demonstrated in videos. The fires burned in it afterwards, and the fire department made the call to abandon all hopes of saving the building since everyone had been evacuated. Hence, the fires were left to burn and the building collapsed.

A payload of volatile, highly flammable, liquid hydrocarbon mixtures, encased in a 358,000 lb to 735,000 lb projectile went on target moving at speed. Not once, but twice, in a very small area. What about the level of destruction should surprise anyone?

I think if 911 was an inside job, it would matter to alot of people. Tell all the victim's families and our troops who have gone to war after 9/11 that it doesn't mean much. 911 conspiracy is not in the same league as Reptilians, ancient aliens, Niburu, Anunakki or U.F.O. sitings. That is part of the problem when you equate people dissenting with government the same as people who want to believe in aliens. Some conspiracy theories are nutty, of course, they seem more like entertainment than anything else but 911 is not like that. Are there any conspiracy theories that are correct in your eyes or all of them just projections of starving trolls? How come so many New Yorkers who worked in and around the towers are truthers? 911 was the most historic event in my lifetime that changed so much as to where are country is heading right now...which is war in Iran, economic collapse, and slowly increasing revolutionary movements. It is kind of like history repeating itself, in a metaphoric way, of the 1960s and how the government became exposed of it's corruption and CIA funny business.

I have viewed both sides of this argument. None of the debunking evidence seems accurate or truthful. It always seems to be sidestepping the real issue and putting a distorted rationalization on the facts and forensic evidence that supports a conspiracy theory. Understand that the government can pay anybody to say anything, or threaten them, like the mafia. Who is going to stop them? And if they want somebody to keep quiet on the truth of 911, they take care of them too. Governments all throughout history, all over the world have done this, what makes you think that it isn't still going on? We learn that propaganda has existed ever since the dawn of civilization but for some reason we don't want to believe it still exists. But it does. You are just blind to it because they have gotten so fucking good at it. they have alot of practice. GOVERNMENT=DECEPTION.

Governments absolutely do deceive people. People also deceive themselves. This is a case of the latter, not the former.

Read the first few pages, then the last few pages. Started off with how Ron Paul isn't down with civil rights legislation messing with race relations in the United States. Ended up with accusations of a conspiracy behind 911.

Obviously if the descendants of the people whose labor helped create the wealth of this nation can't compete it is because they're just not pulling hard enough on their boot straps. No call for the federal government to step in and interfere with the rewards accruing to those job creators whose family are benefited by the status quo. Pure coincidence. Descended from money with connections, education and money but what really accounts for their success is their embrace of the American Dream. Ron Paul is against social engineering by the government to level the playing field. Does that make him a racist? I guess that depends on whether your ancestors suffered from slavery or profited by it.

Matters not to me. I would never vote for a repugnican scum bag either.

911 planned and executed by the government? Really? Why is the farthest fetched story always the most attractive to some people?

Now, was the Bush family friends with the Bin Laden family? Yes.

Was the bush family friends with the Saudi royal family? Yes.

That, and only that, are the things that make me scratch my head and go "hmmmm". But this is in no way enough information to say "its a conspiracy theory". Its only proof that the Bush family have some dispicable friends.

Lets also remember that Bin Laden had already bombed the world trade centers in the 90's. How much do you think that helped to weaken the towers? To weaken the ground around them and the buildings near them? Shock waves can travel far and do damage that is not obviously noticable.

These jets were also going many hundred of miles per hour when they impacted. Here is the situation for the burning fuel:

It burns slow

It burns hotter than other fuels

And there was a lot of it.

Needless to say, that if you think 9-11 was an inside job, then you should also think that the 9-11 cross was indeed a miracle of god.

I used to think that Ron Paul was neutral (yet suspect) toracism. Now, after being forced to "wake up" I have done the biggest investigation into Ron Paul that i have ever done in my life. I am convinced that he is walking the line to draw racists and extremists to the voting booth for him. Does he know about "old money" (rich families that have hostorically benefitted from oppression of the masses)? Of course he must know that.

Opposing government policy is dissent. Fighting against the status quo is dissent. Conspiracy theories are not "dissent," they are outlandish accusations meant to cover up the fact that sometimes life is really, really shitty. It makes people feel better to think there is some conspiracy out there to make bad things happen, because admitting that bad things happen for no apparent reason by some stranger they'd never heard of is heartbreaking.

Most conspiracies revolve around unfalsifiable claims, just like religion. In the case of 9/11 truthers, they actually made falsifiable claims several times. And they were shown to be false.

Outlandish accusations? 911 is hardly outlandish. Only according to someone who doesn't have the insight will think it is outlandish. 911 has not been "debunked" by any means. How come you so readily believe in the debunking so called evidence but so quickly discard the real evidence which supports an inside job? The government has commited false flag operations before, Gulf of Tonkin for example, and even over 10 years latter people are not convinced of Al Queida even existing. Osama Bin Laden died way back in 03. Finding him in Pakistan was a whole theratrical event too. We are getting bent over by BOTH parties in Washington, we have to sift through all the bullshit and propaganda. Ron Paul is our ONLY hope, all the rest are just pretenders. And he is not rascist, that is such a stupid thing to say. There are tons of minorites who support Paul. He is also the best economist. He will change the system.
