Just avoid the subject then, seems to be the best move to keep the piece, and if you do want to discuss something, obviously speak to your pop, not your mum. At least your dad seems reasonable.

Mums worry, 5th, and not always rationally. Mine didn't make my brother have a bar mitzvah and doesn't go to temple herself, but still asks about ME going. I'm sure Voltair's gets just as silly.

Yeah... seems me and her can get along like the good ol days as long as we don't talk about this subject. Probably going to tell her "Let's not talk about this" if it ever gets brought up.
