Stratfor E-mails Wikileaks

RE: Stratfor E-mails Wikileaks
Some people can't handle freedom? lol....I jest.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Freedom? It's not for freedom, but for money.
Our freedom lies in independence. And independence lies on our inner strength, knowledge, and power.
These men were educated in a country which fed them, clothed them, and gave a free education to them. They have betrayed it by going abroads for seeking work. Their findings will not benefit their motherland.
So what good is it if they were a reincarnation of Einstein?
They are worthless to me.

Their contributions are nevertheless a credit to us all. Call them traitors if you wish, and if this is how you would treat your best and brightest, I can understand why they would leave, and why they may never return. We each seek to find a place that enables us to pursue that which interests us, a place which allows us to have the greatest impact upon those areas that matter most to us. For many who immigrate here, it is the quality of life that they may be able to provide for their loved ones, or the opportunity to become something or someone they could not become in the places that they left behind.

Well, the majority our best and brightest, thankfully, are still in our country.
But you need to understand. What good am I to my people, if I am not with them? If I severed ties with them, and started to work for the interests of another nation?
Like if I were to be an extension of them in a foreign land, and continue to pursue our own interests there, I'd understand. But sadly, our diaspora is not very organised, and therefore, unsupportive. Yes, they come and go for a holiday, and spend some euros/dollars, but they do fall short in everything.

Well, I have found the place where I'm most comfortable. The lands of Turan.
Not just Turkey, but wherever our brethren dwell, there is my home.
I seek to help them all, if I can.
But as I said, if I were to leave, I'd leave my people with one less engineer to work with.

I see nothing in America or anywhere else that I cannot find here.
Of course, opportunities can always be created, with patience.
Taking the easy road, and emigrating to a land that actively seeks to recruit the scientists of other nations is not the best way to serve one's people and land.
Some people never ask, my people, my country has done so much for me.
What can I do for my country? Just how can I help to improve the life of my people?

Some of us are completely capable of seeing beyond the borders of our own tiny, and ultimately temporary nations when discussing "our people". You and I aren't likely to ever see eye to eye on this issue.

Similarly, I've found a place I call home, wherever my brethren dwell, and since I consider myself part of a larger, greater human family, that place includes the entirety of human settlement. I'd like to help anyone I can, wherever I can, same as you.

Emigrating is never easy, you disrespect your own ancestors; who were also immigrants, by belittling their efforts. No one sprang from the soil of Turkey like a weed.
