Guess that never made it into the movies?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

But in the US, they do.
The republicunts on the supreme court have made them "people." Kind of like Soylent Green is people.

Good analogy. Soylent Green is people because it's made of people. Corporations (and unions, and so forth) are people because they're made of people. However, a corporation isn't a person (and a can of Soylent Green isn't a person) and the law is not based on it being one. It is based on the principle that denying a group of people something is not fundamentally different from denying it to the individuals who make up the group. That is, it's hard to take away a right from a group without taking the right away from the members of the group in the process.
The legal fiction of a corporation 'being a person' is based on treating it as an entity that can be sued and that can own stuff. All the people in a corporation can be changed and the property of the corporation remains the corporation's and it is still liable for things that happened when it had totally different people in it.

If a corporation is a "person", then why cant my union benefit from it as well? We unions are still held back with the same laws corporations USED to be under. In fact we are FORCED to provide services to people who refuse to pay their dues.
could you imagine a corporation being forced to give services for free?
Now they are trying to force unions to have a mandatory vote every month to stay together, counting non votes as "no".
Anyone can see the obvious one sidedness to this system. In the name of "free market", the corporations have used the govt to give them more power and remove power from labor. their pay has gone up 300% in the last decade while typical labor has gone up less than 1%.

As I just said, a corporation isn't a person, and the ruling that so many people think/complain makes a corporation a person applies to unions as well.
The unions have a case, btw, it's just that 'corporations do it' isn't it.

Actually no. It doesnt work the same for unions. If this were to be instituted in the 50's, then yes, it would have been equal.
unions are 15% and less of the population. By now suggesting that allowing unlimited money to be spent in elections means that unions only can pull a 15% string, where corporations are granted the most power since they currently dominate the system.
It would be the same as saying "white people can put up whites only signs on their businesses, but to keep it fair blacks can put up blacks only signs" when whites make up 80% and blacks make up 10%
This isnt a fair system. It is made intentionally to unballance the system. Individual votes no longer count as corporations now have an unlimited choice on buying off BOTH political parties.

However, unions have a very strong tendency to support Democrats, while corporations are nearly evenly divided; which is why you don't have the Republicans getting 85% of the campaign money.

Corporations are evenly divided because it makes more sense to buy off BOTH of the political parties to ensure your interests are held regardless. Fire and police unions are known to support Republican parties...which is why the republicans seek to protect them and oppose all other unions.
Lets also point out that this ruling does nothing for "right to work laws" which place great amounts of burdon upon unions and gives the benefit of the doubt to corporations in the courts of law.

No argument here. Just being pedantic, I guess.
