Here is a theory that explains both why time travel hasn't been invented yet and why Adolf Hitler managed to survive no less than 42 attempts on his life:
Some poor schmuck has invented time travel every day since the news of Auschwitz first came to the world. These time travelers came in two categories
1) People who want to save the Jews and assassinate Hitler.
2) People who want to undo the damage caused by the first category when their attempts caused a worse dictator to arrive.
As a result, the discovery of time travel was more of a drain to mankind than anyone else.
Any thoughts?

Its not really necessary to dissect the problems there, its awesome by itself.
Valkyrie meets Terminator Its worth the movie rights, nevermind the logical problems.
I'd see that movie.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

I used to believe that I could eat 4 cream crackers in under a minute. I was proven wrong.

That sounds suspiciously easy.... there must be a catch.. I'll have to try it. FOR SCIENCE!

You think it is easy, but then you realise just how dry they are. You are not allowed to drink during that minute either, that would make it too easy.

I thought it was 16 crackers? Oh well.
I've considered the idea that each time I have a thought, it momentarily becomes a consciousness from my perspective. It would be explained to be like the position of someone with split personalities, I imagine. In other words, is it possible that each mind is many versions of consciousness, and the overriding intelligence is capable of assuming the guise of one line of thought? So if I have a thought, have I created a new consciousness that overlaps my old one, and therefore a new person who inhabits my body and seems to be part of my mind?
It's just crazy speculation.

That aliens came down and influenced ancient human religion. I used it to make sense of all these weird gods of ancient civilisations (like the egyptian gods).
In fairness I think I just enjoyed Predator a bit too much.

I still lean toward this actually as it's quite possible. Not my main belief but it's far more plausible then most.
Here's a couple things I cooked up when I was a teenager.
1. We're already dead: The life we experience now is just a very lucid flashback of our lives playing out before us and when it reaches the end you perceive yourself as dead. Think about it, most peoples first memory is when they were like 2 or 3. In that instance, it's as if you instantly started living at that age since you have no recollection of a previous life. If everything just disappears when you die, then you wouldn't even remember being alive.
2. Aliens commonly known as "Greys" are actually future humans conducting research on their past. The "space" craft they travel in are time machines or are capable of going so fast that they can warp time. Reasoning: enlarged eyes, everything is on displays these days. Reduced muscle mass, as we build machines, computers and robots we have no need for physical labor. Elongated fingers, typing/interacting with devices.
Not bad for a 16 year old pot head eh? Lol
