I was born a catholic, and my parents were never overly strict about it, we, my sisters and brothers were never forced to go to church services and stuff, almost never prayed at meals, but I was still a firm believer despite believing in evolution and dinosaurs and it continued that way into my teenage years, I didn't start to really doubt and stuff until my sister, the problem child among us five, became a Christian. I love her and all, but for some reason that set me off. I don't really understand it myself why that sent warning bells off saying I should question. I mean, I started having doubts when I was teen as I said before when I was reading my bible and I came to the part about Lot and his daughters, but many years later, when my sister became a Christian, I looked into Joy of Satan Satanism, and everything trying to get back what I wanted, connection with spirituality. Nothing worked, and months ago I found a bunch of cool atheism channels on youtube, among them, The Atheist Experience. I am atheist today because of many of the hosts of that show and Matt Dillahunty being one of them. Many of the topics that came up on their show helped me to see that it's very possible to be moral without a god, and here I am.

Thanks guys. ^^
Yes, saved by logic. Unfortunately I feel I can't come out like this to very many people in real life, but at least I can online.
