Americans want the fast way and the easy way. Americans want the way that strokes their ego, that tells them they are the greatest and that each and everyone of us are special.

The Neo-cons have really jumped on that bandwagon, yet the democrats are almost just as bad.

My sons generation will grow up in an impoverished America. One where the citizens only concern is instant gratification of ego and greed. An America who has willingly given up its lead on science and reasons to China. An America built solely on mindless consumerism and fear. An America who's government exists for the sole purpose of military force and protection of the elites property. America will become more and more fascist as time goes by and as most citizens realize that the only decent employment options left for them are military. We will be an exporter of war much more than even now, and nationalism will be wedded to religious ferver.

I hate seeing what I am seeing, but THIS is what America wants. Right now, what you see around America is EXACTLY what the majority of American's want. And America seems to want to go further to the right every passing moment.

I dont expect to have my social security or medicaid when I retire in the next 20 years. I fully expect every single dollar and dime I put into it to be syphoned off to fund tax breaks for the hedge fund paper pushers.
