A Methodist in Your Midst
RE: A Methodist in Your Midst

Well,actually,no they do not.

A degree in theology implies (suggests) a basic knowledge of some areas of that vast subject. It most certainly does not bestow expert status in that most useless of subjects.

'Theology' is just a polite euphemism for sophistry and intellectual dishonesty.

Plus years of experience Preaching adds to that qualification. By society standards, He is indeed learned.

I can see where that would carry a lot of weight here..........

Maybe you should invite your pastor here to debate with people who aren't mindless sheep like his flock obviously is.

We'll see how well he goes.

But I'm betting he hasn't got the cojones to confront us directly.

Ahhh

So this 'pastor' has a degree in conning people?? You are sucked in big time.

Theology is not a qualification to academia...it is a lazy persons way of seeming to have knowledge..in other words..a "witch/ charlatan" doesn't your 'good book' have something to say about that?

LMAO ... a degree in theology. They give out "degrees" at Clown College too. The difference is that a handful of us might actually respect a few of the clowns.

still chuckling ... theology degree ... what a god damn joke. "Hey everybody I got a 4-year degree on an old book of bad magic tricks filled with racism, human sacrifice, and genocide! Would you like to get my opinion now?!?"

A degree in theology may or may not give you credentials in the world of stupid sheep, but to the rest of us, it just means you're certified brainwashed.

Just wondering, how's about I got myself a degree in norse pagan theology? Would my opinion on matters seem "learned" to you after specializing in trolls and frost giants? My ex wife has a masters in cultural anthropology, specifically pre-contact N. American beliefs, is she an expert on sex, marriage, and morality?

You don't even need any cash to get a "degree" in Discordian Theology, you just need a printer.
