Welcome. Amazing how the Evangelical community has created its own isolated sub-culture. That sounds like your experience, surrounded by Jesus on all sides - Christian music, Christian movies, Christian books, etc. They really need to get out more.

I'm working my way through the God Delusion right now for the first time. I would highly reccomend Why I'm Not a Christian by Bertrand Russell if you haven't read it.
