Don't get me wrong, it was funny. But, if the forum rules are simply there to be abused like they were, then I don't think I want to be participating in a forum which flouts it's rules whenever it likes.

You all could be chastised/gauntleted/banned for "breaking the rules" yesterday. You all aren't exactly innocent when it comes to the name calling and flaming yesterday. But that was all part of the fun wasn't it.  Were you entertained for the duration of the day? By the looks of it, most people were. Enjoy it for what it was. The rules are enforced 364 days a year. One day off isn't cause to raise such silly questions.
