Don't get me wrong, it was funny. But, if the forum rules are simply there to be abused like they were, then I don't think I want to be participating in a forum which flouts it's rules whenever it likes.

If you want to get technical. You all could be chastised/gauntleted/banned for "breaking the rules" yesterday. You all aren't exactly innocent when it comes to the name calling and flaming yesterday.

Were you entertained for the duration of the day?

By the looks of it, most people were. Enjoy it for what it was. The rules are enforced 364 days a year. One day off isn't cause to raise such silly questions. Smile, it was a joke.

Yes but it was only due to provocation from sock accounts you were in control of. You broke the rules first. You have no excuse for that.

I wasn't going around telling people they were getting sent to hell and going to be slaughtered. Most of it was funny, but at times it went to far and I think a lot of us here feel that is was out of order.

ah yes ... but the actual rules weren't being broken for a month.
