What Kind of Atheist are you?

I tell people only if asked. I don't ever feel the need to tell anybody, unprompted, that I don't believe in unicorns, dragons, leprechauns, etc. Why do so about god?

I've encountered roughly two main differences between Atheists.. Those who aren't afraid to admit it, and those who are scared of peer pressure etc, and hide their true beliefs.. There's nothing wrong with either, as sometimes it would be an advantage to not draw attention to ones self. Anyways, which kind are you?

I am rather blunt about being an Atheist.. Although it has undoubtedly caused problems for me.

I'm still in the closet for the most part, although I intend on coming out within 6 months. I'd consider myself one who isn't afraid to admit it. I often have a very hard time containing myself when the issue comes up.

I'd say I'm an atheist if someone asked me. I don't think I've ever been asked though. I won't bring it up in conversation because I'm never really thinking about atheism. I do bring up subjects like religion quite unapologetically though. If someone says something I know to be incorrect I'll say something - I dislike it when people stand by and allow ignorance to go unquestioned. Nonetheless, I do it in a polite manner because mockery and rudeness don't get me anywhere. If I want there to be less religious (and general) madness I'm not furthering that goal by pissing people off and making them dig in.
