Wow. What a mixture of froth and fecal matter.

Amazing Santorum Lie.
|
Holland is my hero.
But Santorum is so deluded he's beyond persuasion. Can't he see that if he has to make up shit, maybe the people he's attacking aren't that bad? He should consider the possibility that, since he can't find any real problems with liberal policies, maybe there aren't any major problems. He's the problem, and it's proven correct each time he opens his mouth. It seems unbelievable that he can be so willingly thick-headed, but he does happen to be a Conservative Bible-Humper... Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Ah, Santorum. Is it shocking to anyone else that there has been literally no fallout from this lie? I didn't even hear about it until yesterday. The news isn't reporting it. Why? Because it's the Netherlands. Doesn't everyone there joust, drink beer, talk with "prithee" and "thou" and eat nothing but cheese?
Edit-- what I'm saying is that most Americans think that most of Europe is stuck in the past, and is semi-communist/crazy. Here's another idea, though. Maybe it's not being reported because no one in America thinks that the Netherlands is an actual country. They think it's where Peter Pan takes the lost children. *facepalm*. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...007AA8pijL What falls away is always, and is near.
Also, I am not pretending to be female, this profile picture is my wonderful girlfriend. XD

The news isn't reporting it. Why? The same reason why the press didn't jump all over W Bush for all his lies that got us into Iraq. Remember how it wasn't until 2006 that a reporter in the White House Press Room finally had the temerity to ask Bush why we invaded Iraq since all the reasons we'd been given turned out to not even sort of be true? We don't have a media in this country anymore.

The reason they don't jump on him is because the media is practically owned by the corporations. Rupert Murdoch owns an enormous chunk of the US share of "news" outlets. Also they don't ask these questions or give people an opportunity to learn from the "mistakes" of the Bush administration because they want to use that plan again in the future. They can't have people getting wise and figuring out these mass deception techniques otherwise they won't work as well next time they need to use them.

Defaming another country? This is a serious affair, actually. Why doesn't the Dutch government press charges?

Is it likely that Santorin is just ANOTHER really stupid and ignorant puppet? Not as if such a person would be a novelty in US politics. ( or anywhere else for that matter)

We/they might just decide that there are terrorists in Holland and have an excuse to shove our/their politics down their throat. |
