Actually no I was speaking of the baptism of the Son when all three are present in one place. would you like book chapter and verse?

Quote:Yes, and before it was called a trinity, it was referred to as a trimurti.
I think you've got the wrong religion Sad

Quote:Which is?
Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 3, John1 (As promised, The same books that Establish Christ as the Son of God.)

What is the definition of "revelation?"
rev·e·la·tion   /ˌrɛvəˈleɪʃən/ Show Spelled[rev-uh-ley-shuhn] Show IPA
noun
1. the act of revealing or disclosing; disclosure.
2. something revealed or disclosed, especially a striking disclosure, as of something not before realized.
3. Theology .
a. God's disclosure of Himself and His will to His creatures.
b. an instance of such communication or disclosure.
c. something thus communicated or disclosed.
d. something that contains such disclosure, as the Bible.
4. ( initial capital letter ) Also called Revelations, The Revelation of St. John the Divine. the last book in the new testament; the Apocalypse. Abbreviation: Rev.

Quote:But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me.
Luke 19:27
Let's look at this in it's context:
The Parable of the Minas
11 Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. 12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’

15 “And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first, saying, ‘Master, your mina has earned ten minas.’ 17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’ 18 And the second came, saying, ‘Master, your mina has earned five minas.’ 19 Likewise he said to him, ‘You also be over five cities.’

20 “Then another came, saying, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief. 21 For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’ 22 And he said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, collecting what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow. 23 Why then did you not put my money in the bank, that at my coming I might have collected it with interest?’

24 “And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to him who has ten minas.’ 25 (But they said to him, ‘Master, he has ten minas.’) 26 ‘For I say to you, that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 27 But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.’”

Do you know what a parable is right? taking scripture out of context is a weak way to stack an argument in your favor.

Quote:Who, I admit is a separate entity from this one:

So they sent twelve thousand warriors to Jabesh-gilead with orders to kill everyone there, including women and children. "This is what you are to do," they said. "Completely destroy all the males and every woman who is not a virgin." Among the residents of Jabesh-gilead they found four hundred young virgins who had never slept with a man, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh in the land of Canaan.
I do not see any problem here

Quote: The Israelite assembly sent a peace delegation to the little remnant of Benjamin who were living at the rock of Rimmon. Then the men of Benjamin returned to their homes, and the four hundred women of Jabesh-gilead who were spared were given to them as wives. But there were not enough women for all of them. The people felt sorry for Benjamin because the LORD had left this gap in the tribes of Israel. So the Israelite leaders asked, "How can we find wives for the few who remain, since all the women of the tribe of Benjamin are dead? There must be heirs for the survivors so that an entire tribe of Israel will not be lost forever. But we cannot give them our own daughters in marriage because we have sworn with a solemn oath that anyone who does this will fall under God's curse."
No problem here.

Quote: Then they thought of the annual festival of the LORD held in Shiloh, between Lebonah and Bethel, along the east side of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem. They told the men of Benjamin who still needed wives, "Go and hide in the vineyards. When the women of Shiloh come out for their dances, rush out from the vineyards, and each of you can take one of them home to be your wife! And when their fathers and brothers come to us in protest, we will tell them, 'Please be understanding. Let them have your daughters, for we didn't find enough wives for them when we destroyed Jabesh-gilead. And you are not guilty of breaking the vow since you did not give your daughters in marriage to them.'" So the men of Benjamin did as they were told. They kidnapped the women who took part in the celebration and carried them off to the land of their own inheritance. Then they rebuilt their towns and lived in them. So the assembly of Israel departed by tribes and families, and they returned to their own homes.
[b] Judges 21:10-24
Ok??? So what is your point?

Quote:Therefore if one wishes to worship the God of the bible then by the bible is he bound.
So bound.

What's the funny issue?

Prove it. Prove Hinduism is wrong (from where you stole the idea of trinity- Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) and Christianity is right.

Not what I meant at all. how many times have you done this now?

I simply said that word was not used in Christianity before. If you believe to have been, then it is up to you to show when and where.

So what was "Jesus" trying to say in this little parable, and yes I know what a parable is. It is an occult mode of teaching!

Who, I admit is a separate entity from this one:

Quote: So they sent twelve thousand warriors to Jabesh-gilead with orders to [b]kill everyone there, including women and children.

Really! Are you married, and or have any children?

[i]If a man would follow, today, the teachings of the Old Testament, he would be a criminal. If he would follow strictly the teachings of the New, he would be insane.

Ok??? So what is your point?

What if God does not want people to worship him under those conditions? why would he "show up?"

What if, what if ... what if's count for nothing, but I'll still play for a moment. (probably a really bad decision - as these things go nowhere)

What is it about all the god's in the universe requiring people to not only love, but to believe. What is it with believing that is so important to a god?? If my father left me when I was 3 months old and my mother demanded that I not only love him, but simply believe that he also loves me beyond comprehension - I'd have a real god damn problem with that because the evidence is to the contrary. So would anyone. You see, it makes no sense. I kind of understand that a god would want to be loved ... I get that, but what is so god damn important about being believed in???? What does belief prove to a god?? Why would he possibly require that?? Show up mother fucker. Prove that you love me and perhaps I will love you in return. The comparison would finish with your mom threatening to beat you every day if you didn't tell her that you loved your absent father and believed that he loved you with all his heart. It's just ridiculous.

"God proved he loved us by sending his Son to die for us"
... in 3, 2 , 1 ...

Have you ever had money? Enough to put you in a different social class than those around you? I hear it is alots of fun for a while, then you begin to wonder who wants to be your friend because they care for you or who wants to be your friend because of what you have to offer. How could you possible know who's who unless everyone started out on a level playing field, and you offered your friendship without any verification or guarantees, that they will get anything other than what they put into the relationship.. you even allowed people to spread rumors and untruths about the nature of your wealth, and your motives. All in an effort to sift the wheat from the chaff, the wheat and the weeds. To allow those people seeking to be friends with the "wealthy" a glimpse at their true nature.. so when their petition is turned down their will be no doubt in their minds that their intentions were rightfully judged.

So why "belief?" Because it takes a humble heart to believe in an unknown or promise without security. Humility is the key element God is looking for in his followers. Why? Outside of "I said so." Humility shows the heart of one looking for a true relationship with someone they love rather than someone looking to take advantage of an opportunity.
