I'd be quite happy never to discuss this sort of crap ever again, if you and others who profess similar beliefs swear to do the same and not only keep their twisted morality to themselves but also prevent it from colouring their actions.
No?
Then let the dance continue.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Where the hell have you been? Seriously? Under a rock? People have been debating fictional work since forever. Whether its Jane Eyre or Harry Potter, people who've read the works find certain topics of interest to be mentally simulating enough to start up a conservation with other readers to voice their opinions and hear other's responses in turn.
To be asking everyone "Why do you care if you don't believe its real?" puts you on the intellectual level of an Internet troll. The unfunny and annoying variety of trollish troll. D:<

What - Stephen King's It?
Mediocre book, so-so TV movie. Great performances by Tim Curry and the younger cast though. Do I believe in It? No more than I believe in any other fictional literature.

I think it's interesting that instead of defending his god's atrocities, Christian focuses in on the fact that we are simply voicing our disgust for them.
As if we're not allowed to condemn a disease that has been destroying the world for 2000 years.
Tell me Christian - how do you feel about this psychotic statement made by Kratos?
Kratos Wrote:A father had the right to sacrifice his children to God if he wanted. This is a lot older than Abraham, pagans did this as well. I can't see any problem. This is what sacrifice is all about. I suppose it is not politically correct now.
Yeah, I'm going to need to see which one of you has the official stamp ...

I'll guess the answer Cinjin: Kratos is misinterpreting the bible. Only True Christians, understand the book, whowever they may be.

It's not an act if God never did it. In Genesis 22 God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son as a test-- and stopped him once he demonstrated his faith. In Abraham's time and place, it was normal for pagan religions to sacrifice their children (to Baal). God used this test to show He is different from the other "gods." Instead of sacrificing Abraham's son, He provided a ram as the sacrifice. The ram represents Jesus who, 1700 years later, took our place and died for our sins.

In the mythology, god did do it. He told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. He may have stopped him, but he still told him to do it.
