atheists and "conspiracy" theories
RE: atheists and "conspiracy" theories
I don't see any evidence there about protestors being ordered shot, for which you've been asked multiple times now. Perhaps I blinked and missed it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Quote:That doesn't matter! If 911 Truthers BELIEVE it is true, then we should be motivated to protest it! Actually many Truthers do protest it and many have been silenced.

Hey, many people who believed in God killed in his name although there is no evidence of God!

Even if George W. Bush came on T.V. tomorrow and confessed to plotting an inside job, the media would scramble to hide, twist, analyse, and distort the whole message and make it into something else unbelievable. The public would still sit on their hands because we don't want to rock the boat. We have children and families to take care of. We just want peace here in America, and fight wars in far-off foriegn lands.

So you basically just said that THIS is what being a "9/11 'Truther'" is all about:

Worship (large)WorshipWorship (large)WorshipWorship (large)

If GWB came out and said that, the media would be over it like stink on shit, and Bush would be brutally murdered by a roaring horde of shitfuckingly angry Americans if he didn't run to another country. And good luck to him ever finding one that'd want to keep him.

Wow! You guys are really in the dark!!!! I thought that was common knowledge. You guys are very naive.

And quit asking me for evidence, just google it yourself!!!!
You are just gonna bitch about how "crazy" I am for thinking that 911 is an inside job anyway.

Of course this type of intel is not in history books and easily shared. Most of it was classified and hidden for years. That is the whole nature of uncovering 'conspiracy theories'. Whenever I post evidence, there is always some bogus excuse to deny it. So whatever.

To me it is so obvious! You guys are mimicking stubborn Christians in that you are convinced that the official story in the 911 Commision Report is true as if it was the God-damn Bible! You don't know how to read between the lines. You don't know how to piece together various information. You are myopic and self righteous!

To blindly believe the 911 Commision Report seems just as foolish as believing the Bible. It just baffles me how you can see thru the B.S. in one thing, but not in the other. In your eyes, no conspiracy is true. In my eyes some conspiracies are true, namely 911.

And you are mimicking stubborn xtians by making a very bold claim, insisting the evidence is 'out there' and refusing to do anything when asked to show it to back up your assertions other than to moan and whinge about it and tell us to look for it. It's your claim - put up or shut up.

I already refuted the evidence that I found on google which specifically stated that jet fuel fire cannot melt steel. I already explained that with basic science in that if you heat anything, the hotter it gets, the less molecular coherency it has. And that the "blasts" were air-pressure blasts from the upper sections starting to collapse causing a huge downward thrust of force.

you know what I think? You don't HAVE any evidence. You are making claims that have no basis, no founding, and, like you said, if you try to use them you know that we will all be able to blast them to pieces with logic and reason and that scares the shit out of you because then YOU would have to admit you're a sucker for believing silly unfounded bullshit. If you REALLY wanted people to see the "truth," you'd be all over the chance to show us that in no uncertain terms was 9/11 an inside job but you AREN'T sure, therefore you cling to the desperate hope that you, at least, BELIEVE you are right, all evidence to the contrary be damned.

It's funny to bring up blind truth in the bible to this. Because what you are doing? It's exactly the same thing, man. EXACTLY. The same thing.

I claim victory in the name of actual truth, reason, logic, engineering, and science against the ironically false perpetrators of truth. Like a BOSS.

A fat lot of good that will do you. Conspiracy theory paranoids will not be swayed by something as prosaic as empirical evidence. For such people a conspiracy is more emotionally satisfying than the truth. Emotion will virtually always win in a contest with reason.Thinking

Why not look up 911 truth yourself? You can look up specifically what you want to know. Start with Zeitgeist part 2. I thought that was pretty informative for starters. And who is to say that all the 'debunking' evidence is not bullshit? All the debunking I ever watched and read seemed like really lame explanations. I seriously mean that. It never convinced me. Sorry.

As far as protesters being shot, what about Kent State? I don't know if the Gov. ordered it or not, but I know some students got killed.

I was just an enlisted airman in the AF.(F-16 mechanic) I never claimed to have inside info on anything. I was just stating that I am not a 'hater' of America and I easily could have gone to war if timing was different. I was mainly responding to knowing how fast jets could have be launched on 911 to intercept the airliners.

Wow - sorry, but your credibility is running dangerously low at the moment. Might want to think about topping up before you run out completely. You began with a definite and specific claim, that 9/11 truthers don't "revolt in the streets" because, as you put it, "they know that as soon as they do, they get arrested or shot." Now you've hidden yourself behind Zeitgeist, more claims of coverups, and a vague wave of the hand in the direction of Kent State, where you don't know if there's any connection with your assertions anyway. On the way you've protested about being asked for evidence, as though we're the ones being unreasonable for expecting something substantive, some reason for you to have made that claim in the first place.

In answer to your question, the whole '911 truth' thing is a huge mass of claims, counter-claims, and paranoid fantasies. Where do you suggest I start, and what steps can I take to tell fact from fiction?

Are you SERIOUS, dude?! Like...oh my fucking...wow.

Kentucky State: Those protestors set a fucking building on fire and when the firemen tried to put it out THEY SLASHED THE FUCKING HOSES. And the dumb fucks who got shot? They started lobbing objects at armed national guardsmen and there's reports from witnesses that say that SOME of those objects were homemade firebombs and pipebombs and that several guardsmen were critically injured. You can't let a fucking burning building in the middle of a dense city keep burning, for one thing, and if I HAVE to point out WHY then oh man you are so mentally impaired that I can't even make fun of you for it, and lobbing explosives and incendiaries at soldiers, YEAH, REAL PEACEFUL, no wonder they got shot! Yes, there was a kid who got shot by what was supposed to be a warning shot, and it is unfortunate that that happened but that does not excuse endangering an entire city block or more. And seriously why the fuck were they bringing pipe bombs to this supposedly peaceful protest??

And yes, you were an F-16 mechanic; REAL heavy-duty, frontlines, see-what-is-going-on perspective YOU must have had. My brother is a commanding officer in the Army Rangers on active combat assignments. Sorry, but I'll take his experience over yours as to what "really goes on," thanks. He doesn't paint it as sunshine and rainbows and he's seen some shit but he tells me quite a bit, or at least as much as he can.
