Well agree with that critical thinking part. But what do you mean by the "background in science part"?
Meaning they are well-equipped with the scientific reasoning behind how the world works. That they have rational answers to why it rains and why there are stars in the sky. Things like that.

Yeah well I'm pretty sure they will get plenty of "scientific reasoning" at school then. But I think if you truly teach kids how to critically think then they will come to the truth naturally. But I suspect critical thinking to you is...well holding the exact same beliefs as you. Of course if you begin with the premise that your views are correct I suppose that you will have no trouble getting your kids to think "critically". Wink

My views certainly have a higher likely-hood of being correct than Christianity, IMO. I don't care if they think there might be a god, just so long as they don't get all religious and illogical on me. Because if they do, then I will have to ask them for valid historical proof of the characters of Moses, Abraham, Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel even existing. This is in addition to a valid outside source that gives testimony to Jesus rising from the dead
