Ahh I love my Fazer(Hypatia).
She's my 16th bike on the only one I haven't gotten bored with after a couple of years.
Kichi is in the background with her bike.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

My favorite big cruiser is the Triumph Rocket 3.
Here is a rather entertaining video on how they're built

I like the Rocket III, but it is an 800 pound beast. The VMax as I have it now weighs 590. Both bikes are fast, but the VMax is faster and goes around corners (well, mine does after a couple grand in suspension mods) smartly.
Plus ... price.

Pics or it hasn't happened
Plus the Rocket 3 has argument juice from the argument lobe of the female brain

I've been riding for 32 years and it's still the finest addiction I know( to quote Hunter S Thompson very roughly.)

Pics of what, my Fazered friend? Stock VMax weighs 617. Removed stock exhaust, stock airbox, centerstand, stock handlebars and mirrors. 589 pounds, wet.
As for argument juice, nothing on two wheels sounds better than an uncorked V4. The triple is good, but the four sounds like a top fuel dragster.

I use to ride the V but I sold it about 8 years ago. Looked just like this except without the custom paint job.
Haven't ridden since.
Damn shame.

That's a VStar, not a VMax. Two cylinders versus four, about half the horsepower. All bikes are cool, though.
