Pastor once told me we all naturally believe in god
June 6, 2012 at 8:49 pm
Remember in highschool pastor told me that we are gods children
And naturally drawn to him, even if no one ever told us about god, we would believe in him as we went through life. And atheists and agnostics believe in god too, we are just angry with him so we use science to disprove him
I kinda agree, but I believe god likes everyone but me, that's why I became agnostic. I understand everyone has trials in life, but seems like I'm always on the poising side of life. I always get made fun of, I always get rejected by a girl, and I'm always the one who makes threads online about wanting to die
Seems like everyone else I know irl Is just fine. And when I told my
Christian Friends how I feel, thy couldn't even imagine. They just said j need I need to pray more and bring a change to my soul.
I tried everything to suck gods divine dick; but he just does not like me
So working on cutting him out of my life
Just gonna try to detach from thus life. I won't care about anything
I'll quit games
I'll quit trying ti get stable and do college
I already quit working out
Im just gonna sleep all day and surf forums and maybe watch southpark online
But won't take anymore stress in life

We also all naturally suckle at teats and shit in diapers. What's your point? Does that mean we ought to still soil our pants and suck our thumbs when going gets tough?

This pastor is a liar/plain wrong or both.

Frankly this is an absurd reason to be agnostic. If you believe in god (whether you think he likes you or not) you are not agnostic. Maybe you should go find out what the word agnostic means.

Okay, quite a few people will probably not like what I'm gonna say. But I'll say it anyway.
GET A GRIP. There's so much in life worth living for. You're damn right everyone has trials in life. Some people live lives you cannot even comprehend how fucked up they are. Now no offence to you, but so what, you get knocked back by a girl, happens to everyone. Move on. If this is seriously as shitty as your life gets then fuck me, you are complaining for fucking nothing.
If you are seriously feeling suicidal I'd urge you to phone a suicide hotline or something. But sounds to me like you are just feeling pity for yourself. Well frankly that doesn't do anyone any good.

These 'friends' don't sound like friends. If they were real friends, they'd be there for you and talk to you about your problems. Not just fob you off to go pray to a god that doesn't answer.

Or he just doesn't fucking exist.

How is this cutting god out of your life? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but this sounds awfully poeish.
If I am wrong, and I hope I'm not, then it sounds like you have some serious self esteem problems, and should contact a professional to help you.

Pastors say a lot of things. It's what they're paid for. If one was to tell me it gets dark at night, I'd check with my own eyes before automatically taking their word as fact.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

At the time I though god loved me so i did with my crocodile Christian tears
But now i wonder if I'm screwed cuz god betrayed me and I can't escApe his torment

I hope I don't give the wrong impression here, but to me this positively screams abuse of an impressionable young mind. The part about the prayer sounds to me like the kind of scare tactics that usually go along with chain letters, or their modern email offspring. I'm sure you know the sort of thing: a story about some murdered young girl or other who will appear to you at night unless you forward it to ten friends. Such things only have the power you give them and cannot hurt you by themselves.
When my nephew Chris was younger, so about twenty years ago, I caught a friend of mine who likes to think of himself as a Christian telling him in gory detail about demons who delight in torturing people and all that crap. After my friend had left, Chris came up to me, clearly frightened, and asked if any of that stuff was true. I was quick to reassure him and said basically that it was all just silly stories, which must have worked because after a while he went back to playing video games. Next time I saw my friend, I had a short sharp word with him and made it clear that he was not to do anything like that again. One thing I can't tolerate is someone preying on a child's imagination.
Bottom line here is try not to let people get inside your head, especially if what they tell you is too fantastic to be true. Such people rarely have your interests at heart.

Validation of calling people without knowledge of who, where and what they have been through in life angry at god is major league ridiculous.
Agnostics through the defined word are folk that may believe in an entity but that humans cannot believe in such a thing.
As an Atheist I'm not pissed off at something that doesn't exist. Only sometimes the people that insist that this something exists and they can prove it without reasonable evidence. Or just plainly insist I do, when I've said no.

Yeah but this is where my pissed off comes out assume to know my thoughts, when they have not been spoken, turns into a fight with me. See assuming people piss me off.
Maybe, you should have a sit down masks off with someone(s) and straighten this poor me thing out of your system.
Everyone goes through shit, it is how it's handled that brings results.
Lesson on say gossip:
I don't give a shit, if someone wants to talk about me or anyone else I know it isn't any of my business..
Life is too short lamenting the gossip circle. Who needs to waste any of that time.
If someone doesn't like me oh well, who gives a shit anyway. I like me, and have a support group that also likes me, That's enough for me. Keep it simple.

Turn this sensitivity around, make fun of life itself; who has time to waste on so and so saying I have a fat ass. Do you really think this is going to bother you 5 years from now?

Perception of self is everything - no one can take that away either.
I tell my friends look in the mirror and say I love you. Why because it is only how one feels about themselves that holds any truth.
That's where the taking advantage comes, you feel like shit, and others see that and are fucked up enough to take advantage.

Stroke you, new cloths, new attitude fuck em if they don't like it. Or for great followers that are complete xtians use the I'm not listening game.
When proposed with evidence as to a god a xtian (nickname for christian) doesn't pay any attention. This is a tool for life too...as to say life on life's terms.

Most of all stay strong and make you believe in you.
That is tangible and helps life on life terms not suck, so you can see when life is fun.

"If one wishes to form a true estimate of the full grandeur of religion, one must keep in mind what it undertakes to do for men. So because there's no gods you give up?
You need to change your thinking.
