God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems? 
If this so called God would show himself to us, then we could believe and all go to heaven but because he doesn't appear anywhere, he can't feel insulted if we ignore him. We are all supposed to be with our ancestors and beloved friends we have known when we die, so why would god's love concern us?
