After reading some of your recent posts I'm getting a horrible feeling about the way you're starting to head.

Interesting comment. I'm only young, so I'd be interested to hear where you think I'm headed.

Perhaps when I read the words of a fellow forum member and sense utter rubbish, I am more prone to feeling cheated than some.

That's fair enough.

Back towards delusion, thus undoing your good work. I truly hope I'm wrong.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

Ah right. I think I know what gave you that impression. But see, the beauty of basing beliefs on reasons and logic is that you're able to go off and explore new ways of seeing things and then always return home to your beliefs that are firmly grounded. The benefit is that you might have found a nice gem or two that add to your world view (only if they make logical sense of course).

Wow. How confused you are.

Thank you for posting. If you only knew how many times I've heard a rendition of this story. It kinda makes me want to puke.

There are several Jataka (Buddhist fairy woo) tales involving the (fictionalized balized and deified) Buddha doing the same thing. Which of course precede x-tardianity by a long shot. More ripped-off bullshit.

Yeah. A fairy tale that you wrote.

Glad your gawd sends fairies to help you out with your little first-world angst, and all the thousands of women and children who are tied up and being raped and tortured to death RIGHT NOW in the world can just fend for themselves.

How much you want to bet that this story-based-on-real-events took place sufficiently long ago for all the then futuristic events predicted to have come to pass with 100% accuracy?

It's been my experience 'christians' seem to be most critical about the details of the event. The telling of this story was not for any group of people. It was simply time to tell the story to you all.

Meaning 'thought and reason' is only valid if one thinks and reasons as you do.

Well yes, considering I'm right.

I would say 2/3 of what was predicted to happen has happened in detail. Of which there are many private things that do not concern people on this board. What i am willing to share: I was told I was going to be a spiritual leader, a Husband, via a specific path and not to the one I wanted to marry at the time but to one God specifically groomed for me. He listed events that happened concerning my father and his health. He gave me peace about his desisions about God/eternity. He spoke of my mother and her life/path.(when I told her what he said she cried because it was things she only prayed about, He told me of the comming blessing of wisdom beyond my understanding and education. (The whole thing on x-ray specs in the last thread was unexpected or unplanned it kinda just happened.)

He told me of comming prosperity, but not for my benfit so I could live in luxuary, but so I could help others.(Which I am doing) This has come true to a degree, in that I have been given my own company which has grown by double to a factor of 5 every year since we started in 03, and since have rolled what we do, over into dealership in '07. Which has since afforded us another oppertunity to split the company and place us in a position to sell equipment to competing dealers. Which is unheard of any where else in the united states. (In our industry)

All of this on the sholders of one who graduated highschool reading and writting on a 4th grade level. With no other training other than work experience in my field. So I know just short of God outright giving me these things they are well beyond my ablity to accomplish them based on my merrit or education. For instance just being in a position where we are asked to install equipment on competing dealers customers would not be possiable if not for the trust, honor and intergerity that these company have in/for us. Yet in a down economy this is the only way a business like mine would be allowed to grow from working out of my garage to a 25,000 square foot facility in 2 years.

Just how we got the 'loan' to start the business was a mirical. A hard business man who I met twice in my life (and I forgot his name as well at the time) was compelled to give me exactly the right amount of money needed (and not a dollar more) to start. All based on a 'feeling he got' out of the blue, and on my word that I would pay him back. I did so in a years time. (just over 25,000)

Looking forward there are things on the horizon (within a few years) that will put us into 'lottery money.' God has kept his word to me.

That is the money side of the soloman promise, the wisdom side has me answering questions and explaining concepts that completely encompass the biblcal outline of those principles. in a simple easy to understand and consice way. Now understand that doesn't mean one has to like what was said nor does it mean one can not disagree. What it does mean is that a simple answer is given that is backed by the orginal meaning of the scripture in which the answer was derived. all from a person who has no real formal training. truthfully i only have maybe 5 verses of the bible memorized. But when someone asks a question I get a 'picture' of a princple or concept and then I look for supporting scripture and cross check it with the concordance/lexicon. That is why I tend to stick to answering questions rather than bring out topics to discuss. Even the topics or threads i start are answered questions on others have had over the last 5 or so years. Matter of fact this thread started out as a c&p of an answer I gave to someone else a while back.

I was also told of extreme hardship and extreme pain that i was to endure, most of that belongs to me and will stay with me as mine to bear. most of which has happened. On the down side I was told a candle that burned twice as bright only burns 1/2 as long. Which is of very little consenquence for me. Because death means nothing anymore, other than my birth in eternity. My only prayer to this point is that i do all that I am slated to do. That I reach out to all that I need to reachout to. In short that I do what God wants me to do.

So why me and not you?
I learn what it is to Ask, Seek, and Knock as outlined in Luke 11. I have been faithful to what I have been given and have been given more, and in turn I am faithful to that. I do not hide my love of God nor my ignorance of Him if I do not know. None of these things are beyond the reach of any of you who have read this post.

You want proof of God? He wants proof of your intent first. If you can prove your intentions with a mustard seed of faith (as Jesus describes)the flood Gates of Heaven will open upon you. I am no body, I come from nothing. All that I have, all that I am was given to me. I wanted the same proof of God you all did, the only difference was I sought it in the way God tells us to seek it, and I remained faithful to what I found. (Which I could not do one my own with out God's help)

What seperates the atheist from the believer? The ablity to Ask, Seek, and knock as out lined in luke 11. Nothing else. For if God spoke to you and told you how your life would unfold nothing anyone else could say to you would amount to a hill of beans. If you want that back and forth sit down talk like I had, then start listening to what He is telling you now.
