New Theism

Yeah you're right. Except it's a pretty damn hard thing to do, relabel the word 'god' to mean reality and not an entity outside of space-time.

You sir, are dripping with dogma. Change your 'religious views' to Militant non-spiritual Theist.

Your dogma is no better than that of religions either...

Calling atheism a dogma is like calling bald a hair color.

What is "dogmatic" about saying "god" as a claim is a broken claim? And trying to change the definition to me, is merely putting lipstick on a pig.

And what is "militant" about using sarcasm? You do know what sarcasm is don't you?

I am tired of "militant" being used a a childish slur. Militant is what the 9/11 hijackers did. Militant is what Iran's Imams are. Militant is what the Dark ages were.

Cussing and sarcasm doesn't make me want to murder in the name of "atheism". It only means when I do it, that I think the person is full of shit. Please tell my how saying to anyone "you are full of shit" makes me "militant".

Reading comprehension problem on your part. IT IS CALLED SARCASM

You took that out of context, that is your baggage, not mine.

If you read all of what I said my message is that we cannot nor should we force anyone to our position. Theism and state dogmatism already do a bang up job using violence to get people to conform.

I am poking fun and ridiculing the idea that blasphemy makes someone "militant".

Being offended in an open society with free market of speech is going to happen. Otherwise we reduce ourselves to violence we say we rightfully reject.

We have a choice as a species. We all give each other the right to bitch and offend, with the agreement that no one has to die over words, and let those words compete, or we kill each other.

So which would you prefer? Would you prefer to live in a world where a "fuck you" is the worst you get? Or do you want to live in a state where the government plays thought police?

I wasn't too sure if it was sarcasm or not. You sound like the type. Just sayin'

That is because of the politically correct types selling you the utopia that the best way get along is to use censorship.

If you want to think of my bitching as "militant" then you'd have to include Jefferson who equated the virgin birth to "Minerva being born out of the brain of Jupiter", and Einstein in his last letter talking about the Jewish tradition he came from "noble but childish".

"The first person to hurl an insult instead of a stone started civilization" Freud

Having one's claims ridiculed or blasphemed is not the worst thing in the world. Being murdered by Iran's government for being gay, which has happened, I'd say makes the childish "don't pick on me" that goes on here in the states, look petty and stupid.

Christians under Muslim theocracies have a right to bitch. Muslim women who are treated like property have a right to bitch. You and I have no right to bitch. We can go to bed at night without fear of our governments disagreeing with us.

It is a stupid stereotype that merely bitching or even cussing makes someone "militant".

I just don't get the point of these history-inspired speeches. After your preaching all I seem to get from it is that I need to start swearing. Do you actually have something to say?

Preaching is what theism does. Saying "knock it off" and "get over yourself" needs repeating on a planet full of religious nuts with their hands on politics and weapons. It is your personal choice if you care or not. Since this is the only planet I have I'd bee a fool not to care.

Yes I do and I will keep repeating if a "fuck you" is the worst our species has to worry about, the world would be a better place. I think we have more important things such as pollution, climate change, and poverty than to childishly focus on word choice.

A bruised ego is far better than being dead.
