I am a 33 year old man who lives in London, UK. I am an atheist and am married to a catholic.
I was raised by atheist parents but went to quite a religious school from age 4 to 11; it was the only school in the village I grew up near to so I had no choice really. Well, I didnt have much choice because I was 4 but you get my meaning.
Anyway...hello!
From my experience on this site. Most people would consider your wife a deluded fool and an intellectual midget… they would also use stronger terminology, but I have heard that Christians get banned for doing that so I'll refrain.

Most people I've encountered here are well aware that Christians (or adherents of any religion), just like other people, can be intelligent, insightful posters and members of society in general. Christians get banned here when they break the rules, the same as every other member. If you want to make indirect accusations, provide some evidence.
FYI, I consider people deluded or not based upon their actions, not the labels that happen to apply to them. I also recognise that people can be inept in one area of their life and skilled in others.
Welcome to the forums, Taucher

Regardless of what one person may believe here, just check back in a week and you will see that what I have said is true.

I have had no trouble with atheists at reasonablefaith.org. This place is far different.

Now you're just trying to start shit.
You really believe in a man who has helped to save the world twice, with the power to change his physical appearance? An alien who travels though time and space-- in a police box?!?

This is a non-answer. If you're suggesting that Christians get banned here for actions which atheists (or other groups) wouldn't, then provide some evidence.
By the way, I've been here about five months. There are some abrasive members here, there's no doubt about that. If you don't like that, then that's too bad. I generally try and make sure my posts are free of personal attacks, but not all members do nor are they obliged to. Insults are fair game provided they're accompanied by actual content and not gratuitous. If you feel like you're being treated unfairly / harassed / whatever, then contact a staff member. Seriously. Mods are dark green, while admins are red. Don't use people's introduction threads as a soapbox for your criticisms (for which there are already designated places to post them or, as above, can be directed to a staff member).

Because you're not in charge here. You're the minority.

Seems Jeff is trolling the intro threads trying to give new members bad impressions because he has nothing better to do.
Well, you can make your own mind up newbie.

I have said that this is what I have heard because I saw an atheist say that this happens here. Are you going to accuse me of being a liar from an instance of which you know nothing about?
