I never made the claim the the Bible is true.

I must first respect you to be insulted by you... <Me

Why make a big deal out of it then?

If you can't be bothered to fathom our statements and points then expect us to take yours on board either. We respected you enough by trying to understand your OP so please do the same for us.

You don't understand how this works. I posted the initial challenge. You and others responded to me. I'm being polite and addressing the ones I like that seem like fun and/or are interesting.

This is my game, I make the rules. lol

I can do that if you drop the appeals to ridicule and authority.

I never made the claim the the Bible is true.

Then what is it you are claiming, precisely?

I responded to what you said. You may not have made that claim directly, but your comments certainly sound as if you are. You've gotten honest, concise, and easily understood answers to your questions. Perhaps an insult or two along the way, but those don't effect you.

The thread title says it all.

If you don't believe the Bible is infallible, I want to hear a logical reason why not. The "unintelligent" cracks just makes me believe that there is no logical rebuttal to be stated.

You've gotten your answer. The bibles have well documented inaccuracies. Fallible.

My answer as well. There are many books in the old and new testament that just arnt accurate...i know i keep going back to the book of Genesis but come on. To think the Earth was created by a higher being is just completely wrong. We know in detail how planets and stars are formed and what conditions are needed to support complex life such as ourselves.

Isnt that reason enough?

Not for me, the odds that we're hear typing in the forum are too astronomical.

I want to know what defines the Bible, the added stories? the historical accounts? the prophecies? I didn't witness all of the various books being assembled, I can't be sure what is supposed to be there and what isn't.

I'm positive of what's been changed in the Bible, but if someone changes something after the fact, who is to know the difference?

I don't consider the Bible to be an accurate translation...

In fact, I think the Bible predicts it's own corruption...
