But that's why he's so cool. I bet any other politician would be fuming or pissed off, he just had a laugh about it haha.

Boris is personable and quite funny but should not be allowed anywhere near responsibility.

Just coz they'd make a good drinking buddies does not mean they should have power.

Why do the words "hoisted by his own patard" come so naturally to mind?

Erm, he was voted as Mayor of London...one of the most responsible positions in the UK...twice. He's done some great things for our city.

The thing about Boris is, whilst other politicians try ever so hard not to look like they lead normal lives, Boris lives his life exactly the way he wants to. He comes across as one of us, not a leader of us. We all get into embarrassing situations, but politicians tend to hide themselves away so nobody sees their embarrassment. Boris just embraces the embarrassment and shrugs it off, and in doing so he becomes more popular.

There are a smattering of politicians who are known by their last names alone, but there are far fewer who can claim to be known by their first name alone. Say the name "Boris" to most people in the UK, and they'll instantly know who you are talking about. That's quite an achievement.

What Tibby said, and the fact he's actually very intelligent. I'm sure I've said this before.

He does come across as a buffoon, but if he really was he wouldn't be anywhere near a position like he is in politics. Truth is he's actually a very good politician. Certainly no worse than anyone else we have in this country, and that's why I'd love it if he was PM.

I love Boris, he's a legend. As for the Olympics; my homeboy Paddy Barnes took away the victory in the boxing today. I hope he goes all the way for Belfast.
